Basic Life Support (BLS) and AED for Healthcare professionals
Out of hospital, most sudden cardiac death victims have a history of heart disease and warning symptoms, most commonly chest pain, in the hour before cardiac arrest
In Hospital, many patients who experience a cardiac arrest often show signs of deterioration prior to collapse.
Being able to recognise deteriorating patients and respond appropriately is vitally important in improving the overall chance of patient survival of a cardiac arrest.

This course is suitable for any individual who works within a Healthcare setting.
For Dental professionals, a targeted training element is included which aims to explore some of the Medical Emergency topics identified within the British National Formulary.
